Boulder Metal is a local air conditioning / heating company that was founded by the current owners' grandfather. A couple of years ago, our heater went out on a Friday night (in addition to our water heater). We had several people in over Saturday and Sunday all of whom said that we needed a new heater. For some reason, we decided to wait until Monday to talk to Boulder Metal. The owner came in that day and told us that all that needed replacing was a controller board. $200 vs. $2000. Ever since, I haven't hesitated to recommend Boulder Metal to everyone.
This door is on the side of Boulder Metal's building. There's a mural painted along the entire length of the wall. And at the end of the wall, there's a sign that says "Blacksmith" and "1920". The signs look much more recent than 1920, but nevertheless, it's a cool sight to see in a town like Boulder. Unfortunately, from what I understand, this entire mural and part of the building are going to be rennovated for some sort of condo.
