Sorry for the lack of updates, but my life has seemed more hectic than usual. It's been busy at work, plus my wife and I just bought a house, plus Cameron is walking, plus I've been rewriting the software behind this blog from scratch... I'm juggling a few too many balls at the moment...

Anyway, as soon as I find a good hosting provider (anyone know a place that hosts Servlet 2.4/JSP 2.0 based web applications with MySQL on the backend?), I'll be updating the site and letting all 4 people who read this thing what features I'll be adding.

It's a good thing I enjoy doing this site for its own sake...

And about this photo... I really need to improve my Photoshop skills. I don't how to prevent some of the artifacts you can see in this photo. If I pixel peep the original 3000 x 2000 pixel image, I can still see some artifacts. Any hints from any of you?

Ted, you bought a house?! Congrats!!! And very cool photo. Did you take it in Denver?

As for the PS thing... Just make sure not to oversharpen. When making an image smaller, use 'Image Size' instead of 'Free Transform'. Guess that's all I have...

Count me in as one of the four people who check this site...

Not sure if tv cameras and still cameras work in the same way, but I once worked with a digital tv cameraman who would purposely set the lens ever so slightly out of focus to eliminate the artifacts. You couldn't tell that the image wasn't perfectly focussed.
