The Boulder County Justice Center is only a 5 minute walk away from where I work. Earlier today, as I was driving in, I noticed an unusually large number of cars in the area. The main street even had an entire lane blocked off with cars parked in place of where moving traffic would normally be. It took me a few seconds to realize that this must be related to the recent events surrounding the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation. A co-worker and I decided to walk down the creek path to listen to the press conference which was being held outdoors for some reason. I admit to being interested in this case if only because it took place in Boulder, but today, it was equally interesting to watch the press in action around a more high profile story like this.
