I had never really witnessed a "media frenzy" until a co-worker and I decided to walk 10 minutes down the bike path to observe the press conference regarding John Mark Karr who had confessed over the summer to the murder of JonBenét Ramsey. I had thought that the expression was a bit tongue in cheek, but I can now safely say that it's a very accurate description. It was like watching sharks circle prey.

I've been to several crazy media events around Denver. My favorite part is if you have a SLR people assume you are media. I've been handed media packets and more. I've been approached by a number of people working these events and no one has ever asked to see any credentials.

Nice pieces of equipment!
I understand the trill, the thirst for the best picture!
Wouldn't we kill somebody to get that unique picture? ;-)

"what is 2 plus 1?" err, this comment box of yours is exciting. i was never good with math so, if this comment didn't pull through, i'll be the greatest loser in the world, haha!

These pictures of the 'sharks' are very intriguing. I have never seen anything like it, but clearly the sharks are more interesting than whatever they are circling.
