As some of you know, I loaned my D70 to my sister to use for a couple of months while she travels through Asia. In the meantime, I've been using my first digital camera, a Canon S100. The experience has been a bit painful. In contrast to the responsiveness of my D70, the S100 is pokey slow. And the image quality pretty much sucks. But, I discovered a couple of auto settings in Lightroom that gave S100 shots an interesting look; one that I actually like. What do you think?

I understand that without your D70 you feel a bit powerless.
But this is an excellent portrait.
Flash seems a bit on the heavy side.

I can understand how you must be feeling without your D70. After i got adjusted to mine, i found it very difficult to take snaps with any other point and shoot. Nice shot but i feel the light is little bit harsh.
