My favorite spot to watch fireworks in Boulder turned into a construction site last year. So this year, to introduce Cameron to the joys of fireworks, I decided to try a new spot. As we waited for the show to begin, we could see lightning flashing in the not too far distance.

Those clouds definitely look ominous. I hope they did not spoil Cameron's first trip to see the fireworks.
