Through most of the summer, Linna and I took a birthing class where we learned the baby basics. We did not really start to get to know the other people in the class until near the end of the summer. But, after the births of all the babies, we had a reunion over brunch this past Saturday. And we had so much more in common. We didn't have to worry about whether our infants were crying (they were). Everyone was breastfeeding. We could talk about birth and the first few weeks of raising a child and the other people weren't bored!
